We will embark on an exploration of this fascinating period as I share stories of the glorious lives and tragic destinies of Versailles' most famous residents. Inside the palace, we will visit the Royal Chapel, King Louis XIV's apartments and bedchambers, the iconic Hall of Mirrors, Queen Marie-Antoinette's apartment and bedchamber, before escaping to the gardens where we will view impressive perspectives and uncover hidden groves and fountains. After a lunch break, we'll visit Le Grand Trianon followed by Marie Antoinette's private estate including the charming Petit Trianon, secret gardens and rustic hamlet & farm.
